Happy Friday! This week has just flown by with all it’s to-do’s and activities, so I wanted to sit down, relax and write down three things I really appreciate or that made me happy this week! This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, my goal is to do it daily but let’s not get ahead of ourselves! Here we go Three Things Friday:

Potatoes in bloom
Our potatoes are in bloom! That means we’ll soon be able to harvest and EAT our very first homegrown potatoes. For me this is a really huge deal since it’s something I’ve dreamed of doing for so long and although it’s still summer I seriously can’t wait for next year so I can start growing more veggies, as we got a bit of late start to this year’s season.

Our bedroom window
I dreamed of having a bedroom for so long, and as much as I loved the huge bedroom we had in our Åre apartment, that room never felt as cozy and homey as our cabin bedroom does. I love waking up in the morning and looking out over our garden and if I really stretch my neck I’m able to see the river that runs through our little village.

Oolong tea
Might be a bit off topic, but hey fall is coming y’all and I’ve already upped my tea drinking by 500% (at least 5 big cups a day). Henrik and I first discovered oolong tea on a trip to Japan a few years ago. I’ve always liked drinking their bottled chilled green tea but I never really knew what kind of tea it actually was other than green!? While having lunch with my friends Nanako and Jack they told us that the tea we were served in the restaurant was called oolong and it’s great for digestion and that’s why you usually have it with meals in Japan.
While reading up on oolong before this blog post I also found so many benefits to why you should drink oolong, although I haven’t really noticed anything special since upping my daily dose.
I’d also love to hear your Three Things Friday that made you happy this week! Big, small, anything goes!
